Okay...I ordered from another on line company because I made an offer and got a better deal. However, there are not many reviews regarding this watch, and one that I read was about the misrepresentation of the dial color. I'm glad that I read this review so I was expecting white and silver rather than white and black. Another put it down due to the size of the watch...too small for this individual.
Well, the size is listed accurately. This watch would have been considered a large watch back before the "wrist clocks" that have become popular today. For me, this watch is the perfect size. I don't know why they listed the face color as black, except in certain lighting conditions the watch numerals and hands do look very dark, almost black. Someone must have looked rather quickly and wrote it up without giving it a second thought. Personally, I think the white and silver look great together. I have no problem seeing what time it is and the date is easy to see. The white ceramic bracelet shines like pearl. Again, beautiful. The functions of my watch work perfectly, keeps good, accurate time, and the stop watch works very well.
Just a hint if you size your own watch. The pins that hold the links together are two pieces and it would be really easy to lose the small end piece if you are not aware of it. As you look at the pins, you will see one side looks solid and the other side looks like a pin within the pin. There is actually a little cap on one end that will come out. You push from this side and the solid end comes out attached to the nail like pin. The little cap was actually stuck on my sizing tool. So, be careful when you size it so you don't lose the small cap piece. Other than that, it was very easy to size.
The clasp is very nice and easy to operate. Just push the two ends and it pops right off. It is very comfortable and light on the wrist and I like that.
I hope that this helps anyone considering this watch. I think that it is well worth the money and perfect for my first white ceramic watch. One of the reviewers called it "girly". Not so. Pretty, yes, and it could be worn by either sex. Don't be afraid to get this watch. I was on the fence about wearing a white watch and also about ceramic. After reading about ceramic and getting a little education from watch programs on TV as well, I am glad that I went for it. I will probably be getting a black ceramic watch next.
